IBM Watson Analytics is using Twitter data to help companies analyze and know more about relevant social media postings on Twitter. It is part of a deal between the two companies. Twitter data can be integrated in select IBM SaaS offerings and IBM Experience One solutions to let IBM business clients leverage the 500 million daily Twitter messages for competitive intelligence. Applications help improve business decisions. By combining Twitter data with IBM analytics and industry expertise in areas like marketing, customer service, human resources, supply chain and development, faster better decision making can be made that is more relevant to customer needs.
